Connect OrgX to Cursor

Add OrgX to ~/.cursor/mcp.json through mcp-remote.

Steps

  1. 1

    Edit the Cursor MCP config

    Add the orgx server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json using npx mcp-remote and the OrgX MCP URL.

  2. 2

    Restart Cursor

    On first use, mcp-remote opens the browser OAuth flow. Approve the workspace.

  3. 3

    Confirm the session

    Ask the agent to call orgx_bootstrap. Start work only when the returned workspace and visible tools match what you meant to authorize.
